BookEasy charges 11% commission on all payments processed. There is a once-off setup fee and license of R1,200. No paygate or banking fees are charged.

BookEasy.co.za serves as a central management platform for property owners and managers. It facilitates seamless calendar synchronization with external booking channels such as Lekkerslaap and Booking.com through iCal (iCalendar) technology.
What is iCal?
iCal is a standardized digital calendar format that enables different online booking platforms to automatically share availability information. It functions as a secure, live link between calendars, ensuring that reservations made on one platform are reflected on others to minimize the risk of double bookings.
How Bookeasy.co.za Connects to Lekkerslaap and Booking.com
BookEasy.co.za uses iCal integration to connect your property’s master calendar with Lekkerslaap and Booking.com. The process typically involves two-directional synchronization:
- Exporting your Bookeasy Calendar BookEasy.co.za generates a unique iCal link (URL) for your property. This link is imported into Lekkerslaap and Booking.com. As a result, any booking made through Bookeasy.co.za automatically blocks those dates on the connected platforms.
- Importing from Lekkerslaap and Booking.com You obtain the iCal export links from your Lekkerslaap and Booking.com accounts and import them into Bookeasy.co.za. This ensures that reservations made on Lekkerslaap or Booking.com are automatically updated in your BookEasy calendar, blocking the dates centrally.
Once configured correctly for each listing/unit:
- Bookings flow bidirectionally (or as close to real-time as the platforms allow).
- Your availability remains consistent across all three platforms.
- The risk of overbooking is significantly reduced.
